Setting the club up: teams, players, the other adults, and who is allowed to do what.
Creating a club also creates your own account — there is no separate sign-up step. Go to the sign-up page and choose Create a Club.
You end up as the club's administrator, which is the role that can create teams, add players and invite other coaches. If your club already exists in Driblo, do not create a second one — ask whoever set it up for an invitation instead.
Everything in Driblo hangs off a team: players, training sessions, matches and development plans. So a team is the first thing to make after the club.
The season matters more than it looks: it decides which period the team's statistics and periodization are measured over. You can change it later under Administration, Club Settings, Season.
Adding a player and inviting them are the same action. You give us a name, an email address and a team, and Driblo hands you back an invitation to pass on.
Adding a player needs invitation access, which administrators have and coaches do not unless it has been granted to them. Driblo does not email the invitation for you, so nothing happens until you pass it on. The player shows as Pending until they have used it. The invitation expires, and the date is shown next to it — if it lapses, create a new one.
Other adults are invited from a different place than players, because their role has to be chosen.
A coach can be invited before any team exists; assign the teams afterwards. The role decides what the person can see and change, so invite as Coach rather than Admin unless they really need to run the club.
Write to play@driblo.io and tell us what you were trying to do and what happened instead. If it concerns a specific player or team, say which — it saves a round trip. We answer in Danish and English.
